Day 2 : Sightseeing / Explore Highlights of Kathmandu / Tour Preparation.
After breakfast we will pick you up to explore major highlights of the city which includes Bouddhanath, Durbar squares, Swambhunath etc. Today is also dedicated for having briefing about the trip. Our team will provide essential information about the route, safety guidelines, and equipment requirements.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini (152 m).
After breakfast, we will start driving from kathmandu. The drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini is a scenic and moderately long journey that takes you from Nepal’s capital in the hills to a bustling city in the Terai plains. On our way we will see terraced farming, beautiful mountains and misty hills offering scenic glimpses along with flat lands of villages, riverbanks, and rugged hills.

Day 4 : Explore Lumbini.
Lumbini, located in the Rupandehi District of southern Nepal, is globally revered as the birthplace of Lord Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha), the founder of Buddhism. Lumbini is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lumbini is not only a pilgrimage destination but also a center for spiritual learning, archaeological significance, and cultural harmony.
A day exploration of Lumbini offers a serene immersion into monastic architecture, sacred gardens, and the spiritual legacy of peace and non-violence. Whether you’re a pilgrim, history enthusiast, or curious traveler, Lumbini provides a unique and enriching experience.

Day 5: Drive from Lumbini to Bardia National park (152 m).
After breakfast, Our journey from Lumbini to Bardia National Park will begin which offers a remarkable transition from the peaceful plains of southern Nepal to the wild, lush lowlands of the Terai region. Ideal for nature lovers, wildlife photographers, and adventure seekers, this route connects two of Nepal’s most iconic destinations: the spiritual center of Lumbini and the biodiverse wilderness of Bardia. We will stay in a Homestay run by Nepalese-Dutch Couple.

Day 6: Explore Bardia National park / Jungle safari .
Bardia National Park, located in the Bardiya District of western Nepal, is the largest and most undisturbed lowland (Terai) national park in the country. Covering over 968 sq. km, it is a biodiversity hot spot known for its rich wildlife, unspoiled Sal forests, grasslands, and the life-giving Karnali River. Since it is less crowded than Chitwan, Bardia offers a genuine wilderness experience, perfect for those seeking an authentic jungle adventure far from tourist crowds. Here we will do jungle safari with jeep.

Day 7: Drive from Bardia National park to Manma, Kalikot (2033 m).
On this day of our western Nepal adventure, we’ll leave behind the subtropical wilderness of Bardia National Park and embark on a scenic drive to Manma , the administrative / district headquarter of Kalikot District of Karnali Provience.

Day 8 : Drive from Manma, Kalikoit to Rara Lake (2990 m).
Our journey continues with an unforgettable drive from Manma, the district headquarters of Kalikot, to the breathtaking Rara Lake in Mugu District. Rara Lake is the largest and one of the most beautiful lakes in Nepal situated at an elevation of 2,990 meters. Rara Lake is nestled within Rara National Park, surrounded by pine forests, snow-dusted peaks, and tranquil landscapes.
This off-road adventure takes you through the rugged mid-hills of western Nepal, offering panoramic mountain views, remote villages, and glimpses of authentic local life along the way. Though it is challenging in sections, the route rewards with its raw beauty and a final destination that feels truly untouched.

Day 9: Explore Rara Lake situated in Rara National park.
Enjoy your day with hike to Murma Top (3,700 m) for a panoramic view of the lake and mountains, sightseeing, birdwatching, and cultural exploration around Rara Lake.

Day 10 : Drive from Rara lake to Manma, Kalikot (2033 m).
After exploring the stunning Rara Lake, the return journey begins with an adventurous drive to Manma, the district headquarters of Kalikot. This overland route offers a raw and scenic experience of Nepal’s remote western hills, passing through winding mountain roads, terraced villages, and dense forests.
While the terrain is challenging, the journey rewards travelers with breathtaking views of the Karnali River valley, glimpses of rural life, and the transition from alpine to subtropical landscapes.

Day 11 : Drive from Manma, Kalikot to Surkhet (2182 m).
Trek Duration: 3-4 hours / Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner / Overnight: Camp/Tent in Badimalika .
Day 12: Drive from Surkhet to Rukumkot via West Rukum / Musikot (1,521 m).
After having breakfast, we will begin our journey by driving from Surkhet to Rukumkot via Musikot in West Rukum which takes us deep into Nepal’s rugged mid-western region, connecting the Karnali capital to one of the country’s most culturally and geographically diverse districts. This place is known for its unique history, terraced hills, and remote trailheads as well as it’s a place of 52 Lakes and 53 Hills.

Day 13: Drive from Rukumkot to Pokhara (850 m).
After having breakfast in Rukumkot, we will start driving towards Pokhara via Baglung. We will stop at nice spots for photographs and videos. We can have Nepalese lunch at Burtibang, Baglung with locally prepared fresh water fish. In the afternoon we will reach Baglung bazaar and then drive to Pokhara. Enjoy your dinner at cosy Lakeside.

Day 14 : Sightseeing / Expore beautiful Pokhara.
After breakfast, We will start short hike to peace stupa crossing through fewa lake by boating. Visit peace stupa, Devils fall, Mahendra cave etc. In the afternoon, treat yourself with cosy spa / body massage or just relax at lakeside. Enjoy your dinner at lakeside.

Day 15: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,350) .
After Breakfast, we can have a short sightseeing around beautiful city of Pokhara. Today we will enjoy the scenic overland journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu, passing through lush valleys, terraced hillsides, and vibrant roadside towns. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, following the Prithvi Highway, with opportunities to admire the Trishuli River, Himalayan foothills, and rural life along the way. This road trip offers a relaxing end to your trekking adventure in western Nepal, leading you back to the cultural heart of the country—Kathmandu.
